Perform in the MFMC Junior Music Festival

MICHIGAN FEDERATION OF MUSIC CLUBS  FESTIVALS – JACKSON AREA

Students of teachers who are members of the Jackson Tuesday Musicale may participate in an event sponsored by the Michigan Music Federation of Music Clubs. (MFMC)

Our local Junior Music Festival follows the guidelines of the MFMC and is held in March at the Spring Arbor University campus in Spring Arbor MI.   At this festival, Students who study piano, strings, voice, or organ, may perform for qualified non-local judges who award performance ratings of Superior, Excellent, Good, Fair.  These ratings earn points that can accumulate toward gold cup awards for each event in which a student participates.  Music Theory tests in levels I – XII are also available, and are graded the same manner as the other events.   

The Music teachers will provide application forms and collect entrance fees ($15) for each event in which the student participates.
